5th February 2012

Such a busy start to the year. Following on from successes in 2011, 2012 has seen both James, Mia and Rosie add to an already impressive success run.

At VAS HOTY, Mia (Beauparc Enchantment) won her led SH galloway 14 - 14.2 class. Top 10 in the open SH galloway and was the winner of the Champion Newcomer Show Hunter Galloway of the year.

James (Beauparc Exquisite) won the led SH pony class, then went Res Champ Led SH Pony, and went top 10 in the open SH POTY.

At the RT Edgar Newcomer HOTY Show, Mia was runner up Led SH galloway, and Runner up Ridden Newcomer SH GOTY. James also had a great day by winning the Champion Led SH Pony then going on to win the supreme Led Exhibit of the Year. He was also the winner of the Rising Star Large SH POTY

31st December 2011

Since November James has added to his successes for the year. At the Victorian All Welsh he was Champion led show hunter. Mia picked up the Champion Ridden Show Hunter.

Followed by our last show of 2011, Victorian Riding Pony Pageant, where James was Reserve Champion Led SH gelding, and Champion Ridden SH 12.2. - 13.2. Mia won Champion SH mare, and then the overall supreme led SH.

While Rosie has been shown by young Zoe Murray, among her wins in limited outings (due to Zoe's other riding commitments) were supreme led riding pony at Seymour Ag Show, and Reserve Ridden open pony. She also had reserve champion ridden at Dookie and Alexandra Ags. As well as champion ridden at various horse shows.

Zoe has been taking Rosie to Pony Club regularly, where she has been doing small show jumping courses, some cross country jumping and at home enjoyed been ridden around the area. She is proving to be a fantastic kids pony, with multi talents, not just for the show ring. Look out for some photos soon.

We have had considerable interest in our for sale list since our recent advert in Horse Deals. This has seen one sold and one under offer.

New and current photos for Demi, Patrick, Hugh, Ashton, Julia, Mia and Alice have been added to their photo albums.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our friends.

27th November 2011.

Latest showing news.

In appalling weather, 2011 SHCV Masters ran their Horse of the Year Show on Saturday the 26th of November. Despite this, our James (Beauparc Exquisite) came 3rd in the open Show Hunter Pony of the Year,  12.2 and not exceeding 14hh .

And Mia, (Beauparc Enchantment) only a few months into her saddle career, took the Runner Up sash for Debutante Show Hunter Galloway of the Year, 14 hands and not exceeding 15 hands. Then  took 5th in the open Show Hunter Galloway of the Year  14 hands and not exceeding 14.2hands. What a great result for such a 'newbie'.

Please note; we now have our 4 youngsters listed on the For Sale page. As soon as time permits we will have them before the camera for up to date photos. All are in great condition and enquiries are already flooding in. Come and check them out in the flesh to see what great horses they are.

22nd November 2011

Welcome to Beauparc. It's been a quiet time for stud news, with no foals arriving this year.

But we have added to our brood mare group with the arrival of 'Lily' another ASB thoroughbred since Danny is crossing so brilliantly with the throughbred. And at this point we have Shenae, Heidi and Lily all in foal for next year. And have decided to retire our old girls, Zoe and Zara

Libby has been very busy with shows. We will detail this more closely soon, but in a short mention will say that James was a winner at Adelaide Royal and carried young Zoe Murray to a number of great results.

James has also been sweeping all before him at many of this seasons shows, collecting so many champions that it would be hard to put a number to them, achieving a good number of supremes and even some grand champions sashes, building what is a growing stellar reputation.

His half sister Mia has now started her saddle career and is racking up the champions as well. One of the first Danny foals on the show scene that will quickly prove his value as the sire of show horses. Mia only last weekend collected a number of supremes and her own grand champion sash.

And with Zoe on board, Rosie is also having a good measure of wins and champions. How delightful this young pairing is. Both are learning so much as they work it out.

Keep an eye on this site, as we will be putting our youngsters, the new comers before the camera for new photos soon. Next years potential champions are ready for breaking in. Updates to come soon.

23rd March 2011

Welcome to our renewed site. Our old server was closing down so Beauparc has transfered to a new host. We have therefore taken the opportunity to update our site into a new format and changed the look and style of our pages.

Please bear with us as some pages are still in construction and will take a little longer to get up. So also, the links to our horses photo albums are in progress. And we can now invite our friends to submit their websites for inclusion on our new links page.

Meanwhile our showteam has been very busy, and like last year, James is having lots of success. Dale finally made his start in the ring and also took home numerous broad sashes, but he was sold due to our stud reduction sale. This has meant we have had time to start Mia who had her very first outing, and though totally overwhelmed by the day, won Supreme Led Riding pony at the ASSP Open Show in Bendigo.

Please check back when we have had time to list more details on our show ring efforts.

8th February 2011**STUD REDUCTION**

With regret we announce a stud reduction - top horses available for vastly reduced prices. Good homes are essential so all reasonable offers will be considered.

There comes a time in everyone's life when big changes have to be made. For the Beauparc stud, that will be 2011. We are scaling down, downsizing our operation to a bare bones enterprise.

2010 saw the loss of our mum (but at 94 she had a great innings) but now a very serious family illness has caused us to review our goals. As Libby says, I am getting too old for this, my body is not what it used to be. So our loss can be someone else's gain.

Beauparc will retain it's two stallions and they will still be available for outside mares. Our three old mares, B. Showtime, B. Poetry and Sea Rhapsody have earned their keep and have a home for life in our paddocks. But everything else is available to the right home. Please check our for sale page for more details

3rd October 2010

Spring has sprung and as at most studs, we now have two of the three foals expected on the ground. Only Heidi still has to deliver, and like last year she seems to like cooking them longer than the norm. Showtime is here and this year Beauparc is showing both Dale and James and both boys are adding champions sashes to their list. Look out for more detail on their wins soon.

Meanwhile may we introduce Julia (Beauparc Jewels) and Brodie (Beauparc Brocade). Julia should mature big pony (over 13 hands) and Brodie should make galloway.

30th June 2010

Well at this time we are very much into winter. But good rains have improved our dams no end, and we are very hopeful for the coming season. We are expecting 3 foals in the spring from Shenae (B. Finesse), Heidi (Sea Rhapsody) and Sami (B. Samsara) (all by our Danny) but in the meantime, our 4 foals from this last season are doing well.. The 3 boys having just been gelded. (Sorry guys) and all are currently fur balls.

Despite plans to bring out Dale this last season we spent the time on Thomas and James (very successfully - see a list of their impressive wins in their write ups) and so Dale should be a newcomer this coming season along with Rosie (we hope). Rosie had one outing as a led exhibit and won champion - so we hope to see her join our show team this year. Especially now that Thomas has been sold. Check out our newcomer and for sale pages

22nd November 2009

Summer has literally sprung. At Beauparc, our foals are looking magnificent. Having foaled down, and with the foals having all had their initial handling it was time they went into herd time. Meanwhile Rosie has completed her breaking in and as part of the breeding process will find a place on our for sale page. For a short time longer, Kara, is still available at a reduced price because she is yet to be broken in, (although all basic handling has been done) but as Lib makes the time to break her in, the price will be adjusted accordingly. So if you are looking for a brilliant newcomer, don't miss this chance. Meanwhile Thomas and James are doing very well in their outings and we will shortly be able to add their results to this site.

4th November 2009

Wow! At last!. For our friends who have been looking for our last update, please note we are finally back on air. I updated my computer and the website program and suddenly couldn't connect back to update our site. Despite much playing aorund the technology defeated us until our great computer whizz Shaune had a gowith his techno brain and we were finally reconnected and the pages are up again. Thanks Shaune.

We've had great news at Beauparc since our last update, not least the arrival of 4 fantastic babies, check in and see them on our foal page soon. Thomas and James have been flying the brand in the show ring for season 2009/2010 and done very well and their results will be up soon as well. Mia is broken in and we are most excited to see her come to where she can get out and show what quality Danny is giving us. Rosie is almost through her breaking in period and Libby is looking to bring her back in and finish with her and then to break Kara in. Isobelle had lost her coat and the winter hairly fugglies and is looking fantastic so look out for her photos as a yearling though these won't show the incredible movement she has. So welcome back and see us soon.

20th September 2009

Well spring has well and truly sprung and we have 3 foals on the ground with one (Zara) to go. Sami our maiden mare for the season, delivered a few days over her due date and we got a very pretty bay colt that will go galloway. We are still settling on a name for him but he has lots of spunk and Beauparc Attitude would certainly suit him.

Heidi decided to wait on delivering her baby and even went 3 and a half weeks over her due date. But eventually we got a beautiful chestnut colt that was waaaaaaaaay big. It would have to be a hack, and he has been named Hugh. Being so huge and we like High Jackman so what else. He will probably be named Beauparc Royal Rhapsody.

Zoe decided to go a few days late, but then delivered a bay filly, yet to be named. Despite the huge imput imput of bling genes from the sires she stints on colour, obviously, and only managed one white sock, but the colour is very strong and impressive on what will be another spectacular filly. This one should also mature galloway.

Despite water still being an issue we have decided to put three mares in foal in this coming season, all to Danny. Rosie is such a delightful and gorgeous filly that we need to make a back up and so Shenae has been covered and since Sami has done such a good job on her first baby she gets to have a Danny foal also. Heidi will also be covered by Danny for next season.

On the show scene, Libby has been out with Thomas and James and picked up numerous champions, and while we are keen to get Dale out, rather than rush him out under prepared, we may hold him over for next year, he is just too good to be rushed, and juggling three horses is just ridiculous. And Libby's time is further stretched as she is still finishing up breaking in both Rosie and Kara. With Mia being the first to have completed her breaking in. Oh boy, these Danny babies are spectacular, they all have the most beautiful flow in their tail carriage and their movement is to die for. Wait till the show ring gets a look at these.

7th March 2009

Please note Beauparc Charisma (Kara) file has now been updated and she can be found on our Newcomer page.

A few of our recent results. Sebastian before he flew off to his new home in New Zealand at the Victorian All Welsh, went 2nd led Part Welsh Show Hunter Gelding 12 hands and under, then 1st Ridden Part Welsh 12 hands and under, Champion Ridden Part Welsh, in the capable hands of young Grace Hill. Then at Barastoc HOTY he went 1st led SH pony 12 hands and under. In New Zealand he is getting his first experience as a leading rein pony.

Beauparc Cadence (Thomas) having given way to the necessity to bring out two newcomers for the show season went straight to Barastoc HOTY and even though audience applause rattled his confidence, he ended up in the top 8 of a big and strong class of Show Hunter Galloways. He then in the last 2 weeks has taken Reserve Champion Open Galloway at Rochester Agricultural Show, followed by 1st and Champion Open Ridden Galloway at Jerilderie and 1st and Champion Show Hunter Galloway at Tullamarine.

Beauparc Exquistite (James) took the 1st ribbon in the led buckskin gelding class at the Royal Melbourne Horse Show, then went Champion Led Buckskin male. Despite some greenness showing, he then took 6th place in the ridden Buckskin gelding 14 hands and under. Then 4th in the led RPSH 3 years and under, 4th in the ridden RPSH class 12.2 to 13.2 hands class, and 3rd led Part Welsh 3 years old. (One forgets he is still so young)

Meanwhile Beauparc All That Jazz (Jazz) has taken Champion Led All Breeds Pony, Champion Led Pony Hack and then Supreme Led of Show at the Bega Agricultural Show for her owner. Congratulations to Sally.

1st March 2009

We have been remiss in updating our website with our top shows all underway and of course the tragic fires that we have been so close to. For those friends so badly affected and to all the others who have suffered so dreadfully in that terrible experience, Beauparc wishes them all the best in this recovery time, and our sincere condolences for what has been lost. Our own nerves were tested and we also feared for ourselves in those first days, but fortunately the fires travelled away from us and not closer. For all that it is horse show time, we will be glad to see the back of this summer.

We will list our All Welsh, Melbourne Summer Royal and Barastoc achievements shortly. Beauparc Exquisite and Beauparc Sebastian have done us proud, and Beauparc Cadence is also catching a few of the late shows. This is because Beauparc Sebastian has sold and he will now be making his mark in New Zealand and we wish Deborah all the best with him.

We also invite people to check in on Mia and Rosie as we have now updated their photo files and they can be found on our Newcomer page.

3rd December 2008

Since the last update we have been keeping busy. Our mares are in foal and with visiting mares also confirming their pregnancies, Beauparc has had time to compete in the local shows and both James and Sebastian in their debut season have continued to do us proud by consistently placing in the winners circle. We have decided to sell Sebastian as it is hard to always find a rider for him and as Thomas badly needs to come back out under saddle. And updates on some of the results are under the boys sections in our website. (See James in the newcomer page and Sebastian now in our for sale page.)

Meanwhile Isabella, Zoe's foal of this season is looking magnificent. She should definitely go galloway and we have to be absolutely delighted with the quality of Danny's produce. And not just for us is he delivering the goods as we hear quite a number of Danny foals by outside breeders are to be shown at the upcoming welsh shows. He is crossing well to thoroughbreds but also right down to the welsh A as seen by Nattai Ariel's gorgeous youngster.

2nd November 2008

Beauparc has been very busy the last few months. Four of our mares are now in foal even though the long dry continues. And we have had good news and bad news since our last update. We lost Beauparc Reminiscing and will miss her intensely as the two foals (James and Mia) she has produced for us are outstanding. Because this meant we have lost a wonderful thoroughbred line we have added ASB mare Sea Rhapsody to our number and we thank Dale Plumb for that gift. She is a stunningly beautiful mare despite her age and she is now in foal and we hope she gives us a number of beautiful babies in the next few years.

We had a couple of services to Jody Allen's Manorvale Country Royal in the bank from a previous year and with a short window of opportunity used him over a number of our mares. To prove he is over his set backs of last year, he got a 4 out of 4 strike rate much to the dismay of our own boys who were waiting for their turn with our girls should they have returned and so they have now had to content themselves with outside girlfriends for this season.

Meanwhile the show season is well underway and both Beauparc Sebastian and Beauparc Exquisite (James) have made their show debut and have started out under saddle. Beauparc is very proud of our two new boys who took blue ribbons in their first classes. We would also like to thank that stunning little rider Grace Hill who has ridden Sebastian so successfully in his classes. Her ability reaches way beyond her years, such professional little riders are hard to find and Sebastian goes beautifully for her. He is a wonderful childrens pony and is such a easy pony to get along with.

And because we can't do it all, Beauparc Lauderdale (Dale) will be held over to next year to make his debut.

27th September 2008

Spring has burst forth and the horse season is now well into its stride. So too here at Beauparc. We have had our expected new arrival. Zoe had her foal, a bay filly early this month. This is the only foal we had planned for this year, but we are hoping the season will be better and so are covering a number of our mares for this year. Zoe's baby didn't have quite the 'bling' we were hoping for, with only one white sock and a tiny star, but it a leggy cutie, and will be a great bay colour, with a very outgoing and engaging personality. Danny (Cherrington Damascus) has certainly done well again. This little one should mature galloway.

Congratulations too, to the new owners of Ariel. She has delivered them a most stunning foal, also a filly, and also by our own Danny. With socks and a beautiful blaze, this filly is an absolute winner, and Beauparc couldn't be happier. And what a wonderful pony Ariel is, 3 absolute quality foals from 3 different stallions makes her a most desirable brood mare. And talking of Ariel's foals, Beauparc Sebastian who was retained by Beauparc, has had a couple of outings in the show ring this year and in his very first show went first and champion small Show Hunter Pony. So now both of Ariels previous foals are proven show winners. Beauparc will upload some photos of Sebastian under saddle soon.

1st July 2008

It's winter, cold yes, but not nearly wet enough. Sadly, it looks like Victoria is continuing with it's long dry even though we have a delightful sheen of green everywhere. Meanwhile James (B. Exquisite) broke in beautifully and is now having a short break before he comes back in to take the next step. Dale (B. Lauderdale) too is broken is and going beautifully. By the end of this week he too will be taking a break and be able to reflect on what he has learnt. Both boys were a dream to break in, and we look forward to them making their mark.Meanwhile Zoe progresses well and we are looking forward to seeing what sort of a baby she is having to Danny.

19th April 2008

Beauparc is now into it's winter program. James (Beauparc Exquisite) is currently in the process of being broken in and isn't he being a good boy. He's loving the attention and is picking it up so quickly and in such good humour. As we had already presumed, his movement is outstanding and we are anticipating him making an outstanding newcomer in the coming season. We may also start him in some pony dessage trials in a few months time. Dale will then be in for his turn.

Kiara has now sold and we expect to hear very good things from her new owner, a 10 year old girl from Dubbo who was very excited to be able to buy a galloway with Kiara's talent. We expect to hear of her successes in the very near future.

We had planned to put Zara in foal this month for a late season foal, but the sudden change to cool weather and the continuing dry have decided us against that, and we will leave it to Zoe to have our only foal for this season. But we are expecting something truly special with this first Zoe/Danny foal. We have put in an order for some extra flash (bling), and with Zoe's talent for producing superb babies, we are expecting something extra special. With Danny's babies at Beauparc and elsewhere proving to be a delight it is ensuring his continuance as a desired sire.

At this time though, we are planning to cover Zara, Zoe, Ruby, Shenae and our maiden mare Sami in the coming breeding season. We have 2 services booked to Manorvale County Royal, which we couldn't take up last year due to the outbreak of EI, but hope the coming season will not prove to be so difficult. And having sold a good number of our progeny this season we are ready to add to our numbers with some new babies in 2009.

And if time allows, both Danny and Thomas look likely to begin doing some dessage within the next few months.
